Salt Creek Trail   The trail head is on private property and there is no public parking on Salt Creek Road, so you have to park at the Brush Creek intersection and walk 6 miles on Salt Creek Road in order to reach the trailhead. Says Peggy Hiking here in Colorado is a must. Salt Creek Trail is located quite a long drive from Edwards but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. There are many hiking trails in the Sawatch Range, it's a great hiking area. Can’t     wait to get out in nature, if you happen to be in Eagle County of Colorado, Salt Creek Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. While you're here at Salt Creek Trail it's a perfect idea to pop by Big Park. If you came for an overnight stay Yeoman Park Campground is a good location to camp; people from Edwards love to come here. Put some time aside to spend at Big Park Spring since you're here at Salt Creek Trail. Sylvan State Park is a picturesque location any time of year, and Bear Cat Spring is a good local attraction. Fulford Cave Campground is a good local campground, and Red Gulch is close at hand, and is a good place. That right there is a load already, but   it keeps on going; Salt Creek Trail has it all. You must certainly dedicate some time to Elbow Park while you're here at Salt Creek Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Eagle River. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Eagle River.
