  Colorado has lots of outdoors activities. Here at Schoolhouse Trail you'll probably meet some folks from Rico, and get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Hermosa Creek. A spree to Mancos State Park revives the soul, and a short tour to Twin Fir Spring is always worthwhile. spend more than a day at, Transfer Campground is a perfect local campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Dolores River. It's a good idea to take a look at Roaring Forks Creek, it's in the neighborhood of Schoolhouse Trail. Summer at Schoolhouse Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 30's, and winter  
nights come with lows in the 0's to Schoolhouse Trail. Schoolhouse Trail is a good place of common rainfall. August is the month that gets the most rain; June is when it's the driest.
