  Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains where beautiful scenery awaits you. You'll have to go far from Espanola to get to Silver Creek Trail but when you hike it you're always having a good time. Hiking in Colorado is such a great thing to do.
We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Silver Creek Trail in Mineral County, Colorado is just the place. There's so much to do here at Silver Creek Trail that you
    need to camp here for a while, Cross Creek Campground is a magnificent spot for that. Paddling on San Juan River - East Fork is so much fun; donít forget to explore Campo Molino if you're here at Silver Creek Trail. Drift down the
rapids of Wolf Creek in a kayak; Railroad Pass is in the vicinity, and is a good site. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Silver Creek Trail has to offer, you can camp at Park Creek Campground. Don't forget to take a wonderful little trip to Lost Creek. All through the summer at Silver Creek Trail highs are mostly in the 60's, and the night is fairly cooler of course, typically in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; overnight  
lows at Silver Creek Trail during the wintertime commonly plunge into the 0's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Silver Creek Trail a wet place. Of all the months in a year March is the one with the most snow, and June is the month with the least moisture.
