Washington Trail   Finally, hiking time is here again, and Washington Trail in Middlesex County, Connecticut is just the place. A spree to Hotchkiss Cove Beach close to Washington Trail is always a magnificent idea; Washington Trail is a great place to visit for more than one day, Little City Campground is a great place to camp nearby. Dossin Park Beach is close to Washington Trail and is a striking beach to pop by; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Roaring Brook River. Don't     forget to take a good little trip to Asmun Brook; Hammonasset River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. If you wish for a little side visit, try Three Notches, and at Ulbrich Reservoir Dam in the neighborhood of Washington Trail there are some interesting things to see. Stay the night at Hammonasset Beach State Park. During the days of summer at Washington Trail highs are regularly in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in   the 30's while Washington Trail night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Washington Trail mostly gets much precipitation. Of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is typically the driest month.
