Vinzant   Vinzant is not very near Tallahassee at all but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Florida. Gotta get out of the city man, and Vinzant in Leon County, Florida is just what you need. A tremendous spot to camp here at Vinzant is Woodlands Camp Ground, and there are plenty of folks from Midway here. Vinzant is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lakeside Travel Park is a good     local campground. Lake Jackson Mounds State Park is a pleasant spot. All the water falling down from the sky makes Vinzant a wet location. July is the month that gets the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the months of summer here at Vinzant, high temperatures regularly reach the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's.
