Black Mountain Trail

  Georgia is a good place for outdoors people. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Black Mountain Trail in Union County, Georgia is just the place. In the Blue Ridge Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains.
A long drive separates Gainesville from Black Mountain Trail, but it is a great escape from the city. Looking for some flowing water? Try Poplar Branch. There's so much to do
    here at Black Mountain Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Woody Gap Campground is a glorious place for that. So many exciting things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not enough time. Vogel State Park is a perfect site
to stretch your legs a bit; Tritt Gap is in the vicinity, and is a magnificent location. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Dicks Creek, and Black Mountain Trail is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Dockery Lake Campground is a delightful local campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Blood Mountain Creek, and Woody Lake Dam is not far at all from Black Mountain Trail. Black Mountain Trail truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors  
paradise. Black Mountain Trail is not far at all from Suches, and some of the water close by flows, like Kennedy Creek. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Summertime highs at Black Mountain Trail frequently tend to be in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 60's.
