Chattahoochee Trail

  Chattahoochee Trail is located quite a long drive from Cornelia but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. Can’t wait to get out in nature, Chattahoochee Trail in Union County, Georgia is just what you need. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains, it's a great hiking area.
As long as you like the outdoors you will like Georgia. There's whitewater on Dodd Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. Dukes Creek Falls Campground
    is a tremendous local campground, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Cleveland. If you came for an overnight stay Dodd Creek Vista Campground is a fine place to camp. Don't forget to take a delightful little
trip to Left Fork Nottely River, and a good place like Turkeypen Flats here at Chattahoochee Trail is too glorious to miss. Visit Cooper Branch while you're here at Chattahoochee Trail, and a glorious location is Wide Gap. And that's not all you can do here at Chattahoochee Trail. Places like Chattahoochee National Forest are good to check out, and get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Chattahoochee River. If you want a perfect time in the great  
outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The high level of rainfall makes Chattahoochee Trail a rather wet place. During March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. High temperatures at Chattahoochee Trail all through the months of summer are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's.
