Skyuka Trail is not far at all from Lookout Mountain, and paddling on Rock Creek is so much fun. There's so much to do here at Skyuka Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Raccoon Mountain Caverns and Campground is a nice location for that. Spring is an inspiring place to explore during your stay. Black Creek is a nice local stream; don't leave Skyuka Trail without first paying a visit to Jackson Spring. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do close to Skyuka
| Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Skyuka Trail has to offer, you can camp at Look Out Mountain KOA Kampground. Places like Cloudland Canyon State Park are great to visit. Skyuka Trail usually gets much rainfall. Of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Skyuka Trail mostly tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Skyuka Trail. | |
