Three Forks Trail
| | Great place to camp and get away from the world!! I have never seen any trash besides some fish hooks. Great place and not alot of people know about its location. Lets keep it that way!! Says anonymous
Dont waste your time - too many people, and too much trash. Couldn't find a good spot to set up. Says Hippe Hiker
Very nice place to hang out. It was peaceful and clean. I have been about 6 times in the last two years. Says Jason

I went there 8/09 and it was nice and clean. 6 people went through the camp site some were packing large knives so if you camp over night make sure you have some form of protection and a night light. Crawfish are in the creek area
| and fun to catch to pass the time. It gets cold at night so dress warm stay away from cotton as it soaks up water and you will freeze. If you want private time go durning the week!!! Firewood is hard to get as the trees around the site can't be burned without harming you so gather wood durning the daytime. Says George
Been there back in the 60's when I was 9, the 70's, and the 80's while in college. Want to go back and take my sons some day soon. | |

Bury me at Three Forks has it right: no cars, no trash, and not for the faint of heart and definitely not an easy place to get to. A very special place in one of the great parks of this nation. Treasure it. Says 3Fork Traveler
The trail and campsite were nice, but someone had pried open the back sliding glass on our pickup with a screwdriver. They mostly just rummaged thru got a couple cds and a cell phone charger, but the glass is expensive. A friend got
robbed @ big bend on the Chattooga river not far away in like 2002. Bring your valuables with you on the trail! Says Susan & Phil
Very very scattered trash as I saw, and there were no people other than like a car passing
sometimes. Beautiful area. Be aware that a wilderness camp is operated around this area and campers in groups of up to 15 may be present. Says Ashton Zanecki
Went the other day. No trash and other than 4 hippies no one
out there and there wasn't any trash. Great time. Says Chris
'Too crowded, locals and lots of trash'' That's disturbing. As a ''local'', I used to frequently hike into Three Forks back in the '70's and '80's - I haven't
been there for about 10-15 years, but always think about going back. When I used to visit Three Forks, the trails were poorly established at the far end of the the trail - I usually bushwhacked my way down to the rivers over the last
quarter to half mile. Says Bury me at Three Forks
too crowded, locals and lots of trash Says brock landers
Latitude: 34.98444 Longitude: -83.21139 Says shannon powell
I've hiked it a few times! great trail!!!! Says Phil
