  Dead Mule Trail is not very near Moscow at all but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Dead Mule Trail in Clearwater County, Idaho is such a great place. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Clearwater Mountains where beautiful scenery awaits you.
While visiting this area in Idaho it's a good idea to go hiking too. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Skull Creek,
    and St. Joe National Forest is both nice and beautiful. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Clearwater Mountains has to offer. Dead Mule Trail is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Washington
Creek Campground is a nice local campground. Why not stop by nearby Dead Mule Creek while you're here at Dead Mule Trail. A pleasant place to camp here at Dead Mule Trail is Aquarius Campground; since you're here, you could take a look at Deadhorse Creek. Get drenched paddling on Clearwater River - North Fork. From a rain point of view Dead Mule Trail is a relatively common place. January is the month that gets the most snow; July on the other hand is the driest.  
High temperatures at Dead Mule Trail through the warm months are in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dead Mule Trail are in the 10's.
