Myers Creek Trail   RRMARS,  Yes there is a connection Fremont county Idaho was named for capt. Fremont. I would suspect that Myers Creek would be named for your relative although I cannot prove it. Says rrmars@aol.com Myers Creek Trail is not very near Rexburg at all     but it is a good trail. Hiking trails are all over the Bitterroot Range, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Myers Creek Trail in Fremont County, Idaho is the outdoors at it's best. Outdoors people generally like this part of Idaho. Harriman State Park is a delightful site to explore; if you came for an overnight stay Upper Lake Campground is a tremendous site to camp. So many fun things in the Bitterroot Range, just fantastic. Whitewater paddling is good on Henrys Fork; Henrys Lake State Park is a delightful campground nearby. Around Myers Creek Trail you don’t get a lot of rainfall. The month of June is the wettest   with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month. For the duration of the days of summer at Myers Creek Trail highs are mostly in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows at Myers Creek Trail through the wintertime frequently plunge into the 0's.
