if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Joe River - Marble Creek. This site, the Bitterroot Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Prince Peak Trail is a good spot to visit
| for more than one day, Huckleberry Flat Campground is a good spot to camp nearby. Whitewater paddling is delightful on St. Joe River - Slate Creek; if you're visiting from Wallace, you won't be the only one. Summertime at Prince Peak Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Prince Peak Trail are in the 20's. | |

From a rainfall point of view Prince Peak Trail is a reasonably normal place. Most of the snow falls all through January, and July on the other hand is the driest.
