Queen Mountain Trail

Queen Mountain Trail is located quite a long drive from Coeur d'Alene but it's one of those places where hiking is great. This part of Idaho is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Queen Mountain Trail in Boundary County, Idaho is just the place. Queen Mountain Trail is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Copper Creek Campground is a magnificent local campground.
Some of the water close by flows, like Kreist Creek; if you came to camp Robinson Lake Campground is a tremendous place to do that. Looking for some flowing water? Try Bussard Creek, and if you come at the right time of year, Moyie
River offers some fine whitewater. You'll meet a lot of people from Eastport here, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Kootenai. Summertime highs at Queen Mountain Trail frequently tend to be in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Queen Mountain Trail temperatures plunge to
the 10's. Not much rainfall falls here at Queen Mountain Trail. The month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
