River to River Trail   River to River Trail is not very near Harrisburg at all but hiking it is always fun. Hiking in Illinois is such a great thing to do. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, if you happen to be in Hardin County of Illinois, River to River Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Shawnee National Forest is a great place to check out, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Lusk Creek. Pine Ridge Campground is a delightful     local campground; if you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Cave In Rock. Double M Campground is a delightful campground nearby. Through the days of summer at River to River Trail temperatures are frequently in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at River to River Trail dip into the 20's. River to River Trail is a rather wet place generally with a good deal of rain.
