Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and if you happen to be in McCreary County of Kentucky, Cliffside Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. | acquire some nice water scenery at Noes Breakwater. Upper Twin Branch is right next door to Cliffside Trail and is always a joy to explore. Whitewater paddling is great on Laurel River, and if you came to camp Sawyer Campground is a good place to do that. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bark Camp Creek. so much to do here at Cliffside Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Branch Shelter Campground is a nice place for that. At Cliffside Trail through the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's.
