Indian Trail   Indian Trail is located quite a long drive from Hudson but it is a good trail. Mudge Pond Town Beach is near Indian Trail and is a picturesque beach to go to; hey, Guilder Brook is a pleasant local stream. Here at Indian Trail you'll almost certainly meet some people from South Egremont, and you can stay the night at Camp Waubeeka. Guilder Pond Dam is worth checking out since you're here; Taconic State Park Copake Falls is a perfect campground nearby. Get dripping     wet paddling on Bash Bish Brook, and a pleasant place close by is Guilder Hollow. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Indian Trail has it all. Whitewater paddling is good on Esopus Creek, and you beyond doubt must take a look at Mt. Washington State Forest since you're here. The yearly rainfall here at Indian Trail is about average. Through the month of May you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest. All through the days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Indian Trail, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
