Albany Notch Trail   There are many wonderful hiking trails in the White Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. In Maine you never run out of outdoors fun. Albany Notch Trail is located quite a long drive from Lewiston-Auburn but what a great place for hiking it is. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Albany Notch Trail in Oxford County, Maine is a good choice. There are some nice whitewater spots on Crooked River; there are plenty of     folks from Stoneham here at Albany Notch Trail. And if that's not enough there's plenty more entertaining stuff to do in the White Mountains. There's whitewater on Crooked River for all you thrill seekers, and obviously Meadow Brook flows through this region. Patte Brook Dam is worth visiting while you're here, and a glorious place is Albany Notch. Grafton Notch State Park is a glorious spot to take a look at on a delightful day, and Pleasant River Campground is a great campground nearby. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. A quick trip to New England Brook near Albany Notch Trail is a good idea. If you came for an overnight stay Crocker Pond Campground is a   splendid site to camp. Albany Notch Trail is a good spot of typical precipitation. The month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Through the warm months at Albany Notch Trail temperatures are commonly in the 70's.
