Eagle Lake Trail   A long drive separates Bangor from Eagle Lake Trail, but trails like these are great. It's a perfect idea to pop by Eagle Brook, it's close to Eagle Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Nicatous Stream. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Eagle Lake Trail has to offer, you can camp at Maple Grove Campground. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Narraguagus River. Big Sand Beach is in     close proximity to Eagle Lake Trail if you're in a beach type of mood. There's so much to do here at Eagle Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Cold Spring Campground is a wonderful spot for that. All through the summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Eagle Lake Trail while night lows are usually in the 50's.
