Lead Mountain Trail

  No chance of getting bored in Maine if you like the outdoors. A long drive separates Bangor from Lead Mountain Trail, but it is a really good trail. Stay the night at Mountain View Campground, and some close by water includes Meadow Brook. Get dripping wet paddling on Union River - East Branch, and Lead Mountain Trail is a good site to visit for more than one day, Eastbrook Campground is a good site to camp nearby. Humpback Brook is one of the streams nearby
    that might be worth checking out. Schoodic Beach is in the neighborhood of Lead Mountain Trail if you're in a beach type of mood. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Narraguagus River - West Branch, and on a great day it's a perfect
idea to spend the day at Black Beach. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Lead Mountain Trail. At Lead Mountain Trail all through the long summer days highs are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lead Mountain Trail temperatures plunge to the 0's.
