  Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Sawyer Notch Trail in Knox County, Maine is just what you need. If you are in Maine during hiking season you have to go hiking. When you're here at Sawyer Notch Trail it's always fun to go to Holbrook Island Sanctuary State Park; nearby you hit upon good spots like Leach Rock. Sawyer Notch Trail is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Duck Harbor Campground is a pleasant
    place to camp nearby. During your stay at Sawyer Notch Trail do stop at close by Goss Beach; Duck Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at. Stay the night at Greenlaws RV and Tenting Park; if you come
at the right time of year, Blue Hill Falls offers some perfect whitewater. There's some flowing water nearby, Barter Creek is a stream you can explore during your stay. While you're here at Sawyer Notch Trail you will meet lots of people from close by Isle Au Haut, and taking a little journey to nearby Lookout Point is a great idea. Just can't get enough of Sawyer Notch Trail. Time spent at Boom Beach near Sawyer Notch Trail is always great, and whitewater  
paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Goose Falls. An average amount of rain falls at Sawyer Notch Trail.
