Rock Spring Creek is a perfect location to go to, and a perfect place like Straits State Park is too good to leave out. Trail, and why not a little side visit to Silver Creek. Camping at Bay City Lake Campground is always a good experience. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Mackinac Trail, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's,
| and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Mackinac Trail.
