Cutoff Trail

Cutoff Trail is not very near Bozeman at all but trails like these are great. If you are in Montana during hiking season you have to go hiking. Henrys Lake State Park is a good spot to go if you're at Cutoff Trail, and Cutoff Trail is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Cabin Creek Campground is a nice local campground. Get your pulse rate up on the tremendous whitewater of Madison River. Camping at Beaver Creek Campground 2 is always a wonderful experience,
and of course Hilgard Creek flows through this vicinity. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Madison River. North Fork Hilgard Creek is a stream that you may come across during your stay.
Around Cutoff Trail you donít get a lot of rainfall. Of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
