Solomon Ridge Trail   A long drive separates Missoula from Solomon Ridge Trail, but what a great place for hiking it is. No chance of getting bored in Montana if you like the outdoors. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a glimpse of at Pollocks JH Valley of the Moon Dam next to Solomon Ridge Trail. There are plenty of people from Clinton here at Solomon Ridge Trail. Elkhorn Guest Ranch is a tremendous local campground. Glide down the rapids of Whitewater Outfitter - 10 000     Waves Raft & Kayak Adventures in a kayak, and why not a little side trip to North Fork Gilbert Creek. Beavertail Hill State Park is a nice site; Solomon Ridge Trail is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Ekstrom's Stage Station is a good spot to camp nearby. If you come at the right time of year, Whitewater Outfitter - Blackfoot River Rentals offers some fine whitewater. Summertime at Solomon Ridge Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Solomon Ridge Trail drop into the 10's. At Solomon Ridge Trail you don’t see much precipitation.
