Caldwell Fork Trail

  Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Great Smoky Mountains, it's a great hiking area. Hiking here in North Carolina is a must. It's a long drive from Newport to Caldwell Fork Trail but it's one of those places where hiking is great.
We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Caldwell Fork Trail in Haywood County, North Carolina is just the place. Double Gap is a great spot to stop at close by, and getting to Snake Branch from Caldwell
    Fork Trail is painless. So much amusing stuff to do in the Great Smoky Mountains, not enough time. You're sure to bump into some cheerful people from Maggie Valley here, and Cataloochee Creek is a nice whitewater spot nearby. Hillbilly
Campground is a glorious local campground, and some of the water nearby flows, like McKee Branch. Caldwell Fork Trail is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Rippling Waters RV Park is a wonderful location to camp nearby. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pigeon River. Much precipitation falls at Caldwell Fork Trail. The wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains  
the most while October is typically the driest month. The warmest time of the year at Caldwell Fork Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Caldwell Fork Trail.
