Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Looking Glass Creek. Some of the water nearby flows, like Slate Rock Creek, and you'll meet a lot of folks from   Penrose here. Just can't get enough of Laurel Mountain Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Laurel Mountain Trail a wet place. Most of the rain falls during March, and the driest month is October.
