You'll have to go far from Seneca to get to Shortoff Mountain Trail but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it. Paddling on Norton Creek is so much fun, and this is a popular place for people from Highlands. Try Bad Branch. Stay the night at Arrowmont Stables and Cabins, and Yellow Mountain Gap is a nice place to spend some time.
