Adams Slide Trail

(…) The route's a very difficult bushwhack now.
Says Jenny

Hey folks - the Adam's slide trail is a now defunct trail... while it can be followed, it is quite steep and overgrown. You talk about the Six Husbands Trail like it was a walk in the park. It is one of the more difficult trails in the Presidentials. Star Lake is at 4300+ feet, requiring a strenuos climb. Weather in the Presidentials is changeable and extreme - people die in snowstorms
in the summer up there. Not good to publish such misleading info...

In New Hampshire you never run out of outdoors fun. Gotta get out of the city man, and Adams Slide Trail in Coos County, New Hampshire is such
a great place. It's a long drive from Berlin to Adams Slide Trail but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family.
In the White Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. At Adams Slide Trail you always meet someone from Gorham, and Timberland Camping Area is a fine campground nearby. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the White Mountains. Peabody River - West Branch has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by.

Stay the night at Dolly Copp Big Meadow - White Mountain National Forest, and whitewater paddling is fine on Peabody River. Adams Slide Trail is close to Mt. Washington State Park which is a beautiful site; why not take a little spree to Chandler Brook if you're here.
