Slippery Brook Trail

  In the White Mountains there are many great hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. A visit to New Hampshire is not complete without some hiking. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Slippery Brook Trail in Carroll County, New Hampshire is just the place.
A long drive separates Berlin from Slippery Brook Trail, but it is a really good trail. Stay the night at Basin Pond Campground, and there are plenty of folks from Center Conway
    here. And if that's not enough there's loads more amusing things to do in the White Mountains. Basin Campground and Picnic Area is a good campground nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we
recommend Wild River. White Mountain National Forest is a splendid location to go if you're at Slippery Brook Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Saco River - East Branch offers some great whitewater. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Slippery Brook Trail get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Slippery Brook Trail night low temperatures during the winter  
are in the 0's. Slippery Brook Trail gets a common amount of rainfall. The wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January.
