Bluefront Trail   Finally, hiking time is here again, and Bluefront Trail in Lincoln County, New Mexico is just what you need. You'll have to go far from Alamogordo to get to Bluefront Trail but it sure is a nice trail. Ice Spring is a good local attraction. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bluefront Trail has to offer, you can camp at Skyline Campground II. Vanishing Spring is always fun to check out, and Bluefront Trail is a magnificent site to visit for     more than one day, Oak Grove Campground is a magnificent site to camp nearby. There are plenty of people from Nogal here at Bluefront Trail. Around Bluefront Trail you don’t get a lot of rain. During August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is April. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Bluefront Trail highs are usually in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's.
