Brannon Park Trail

In the Black Range there are many great hiking trails, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. When was the last time you got out in nature a bit? if you happen to be in Grant County of New Mexico, Brannon Park Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. A long drive separates Silver City from Brannon Park Trail, but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person.
New Mexico has lots of outdoors activities.
Camping is available at Mesa Campground; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Gila River. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Black Range. If you came for an overnight
stay Upper End Campground is a good place to camp. A tour to Big Timber Canyon is always fun. Summertime highs at Brannon Park Trail generally tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Brannon Park Trail. Brannon Park Trail gets very little rainfall. The wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is April.
