Burnt Mountain Trail

This part of New Mexico is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Black Range where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Burnt Mountain Trail is located quite a long drive from Silver City but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family.
You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Burnt Mountain Trail in Catron County, New Mexico is a great place to go. Stay the
night at Upper Black Canyon Campground, and you can run the rapids of Gila River. So many enjoyable things to do in the Black Range, not enough time. A tour to Burnt Mountain Trail wouldn’t be complete without a spree to close by
Gila National Forest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Burnt Mountain Trail has to offer, you can camp at Lower Black Canyon Campground. Burnt Mountain Trail is pretty arid typically. Of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and April on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Burnt Mountain Trail during the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and the night is rather chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 40's; night lows in the 10's for Burnt Mountain Trail.
