Cabra Loop Trail   Cabra Loop Trail is a long drive away from Los Alamos but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it. There are many hiking trails in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains where beautiful scenery awaits you. Gotta get out of the city man, and Cabra Loop Trail in Los Alamos County, New Mexico is a really good place to spend some time. If you are in New Mexico during hiking season you have to go hiking. Juniper Campground is a great local campground;     there are plenty of folks from Los Alamos here. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Bandelier National Monument is one of the destinations in the neighborhood of Cabra Loop Trail that are wonderful to go to. If you come at the right time of year, Rio Chama offers some great whitewater. At Cabra   Loop Trail you don’t see much rainfall. The month with most of the rain is August while February is regularly the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Cabra Loop Trail. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's.
