Canoncito Trail   I haven't hiked in this area in a while, because a private land owner has put up a gate and blocked access to this Trailhead and Cole Springs Picnic Area. Says Mark Canoncito Trail is located quite a long drive from Albuquerque but it is a really good trail. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and if you happen to be in Bernalillo County of New Mexico, Canoncito Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. A visit to Cole Spring     will fill your soul with good feelings. A delightful spot to camp here at Canoncito Trail is Sandia Crest Camping Resort, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Torro Spring. Canoncito Trail is great enough to spend more than a day at, Turquoise Trail Campgrounds is a great local campground. Canoncito Trail is a place with many visitors from Cedar Crest. Petroglyph National Monument is a tremendous local destination here at Canoncito Trail. Through the summertime highs here at Canoncito Trail get into the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Canoncito   Trail tend to be in the 20's. Canoncito Trail is generally a rather dry place. The wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
