Divide Trail   Gotta get out of the city man, and Divide Trail in Taos County, New Mexico is just the place. Hiking here in New Mexico is a must. In the Sangre De Cristo Mountains there are many great hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. A long drive separates Taos from Divide Trail, but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. You can run the rapids of Rio Embudo right next door to Divide Trail, and Agua Piedra Campground is a     good local campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Sangre De Cristo Mountains has to offer. There's whitewater on Rio Pueblo for all you thrill seekers, and you'll most likely meet some folks from Cleveland here. Why not camp at Santa Barbara Campground if you're here at Divide Trail, and a great place like Morphy Lake State Park is too good to leave out. High temperatures at Divide Trail throughout the summertime months are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Divide Trail temperatures sink to the 0's. It is   very dried up here at Divide Trail generally. August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February.
