Green Fly Trail   Green Fly Trail is not very near Silver City at all but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. A visit to New Mexico is not complete without some hiking. Can’t wait to get out in nature, Green Fly Trail in Catron County, New Mexico is a good choice. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the San Francisco Mountains, it's a great hiking area. Gila National Forest is a wonderful site any time of year, and camping at Wall Lake Campground is     always a tremendous experience. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the San Francisco Mountains. A short tour to Cassidy Spring is always worthwhile, and if you came to camp Scorpion Corral Campground is a delightful site to do that. Sam Martin Spring is an inspiring site to check out while you're here, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Gila River. Not much rainfall falls here at Green Fly Trail. The month with most of the rain is August, and May is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at Green Fly Trail frequently tend to be in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's.
