McKenzie Trail   Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, McKenzie Trail in Catron County, New Mexico is a really good place to spend some time. McKenzie Trail is located quite a long drive from Silver City but it is a really good trail. While visiting this area in New Mexico it's a good idea to go hiking too. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the San Francisco Mountains, it's a great hiking area. If you're here, you might as well take a look at Turkeyfeather     Pass, and camping at Ben Lilly Campground is always a delightful experience. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the San Francisco Mountains has to offer. Places like Gila National Forest are good to explore, and if you came to camp Willow Creek Campground is a pleasant location to do that. A tour to Turkeyfeather Spring will fill your spirit with glorious feelings, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend San Francisco River. Summertime highs at McKenzie Trail ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 50's with temperatures   at McKenzie Trail dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. McKenzie Trail gets very little precipitation. The month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is May.
