Rendija Trail   Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. This part of New Mexico is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. You'll have to go far from Los Alamos to get to Rendija Trail but it is a really good trail. Gotta get out of the city man, and Rendija Trail in Los Alamos County, New Mexico is a good choice. Here at Rendija Trail there are plenty of folks from Los Alamos;     a journey to Bandelier National Monument is recommended. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There's so much to do here at Rendija Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Juniper Campground is a great place for that. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Rio Grande. Rendija Trail is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Cottonwood RV Park is a splendid local campground. A splendid location right next door to Rendija Trail is Cabra Canyon. For the period of the days of summer at Rendija Trail temperatures are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the   50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Rendija Trail. Rendija Trail is a location that is rather arid commonly. The month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture.
