Rio Medio Trail   Finally, hiking time is here again, and Rio Medio Trail in Mora County, New Mexico is a really good place to spend some time. Hiking in New Mexico is such a great thing to do. Hiking trails are all over the Sangre De Cristo Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Rio Medio Trail is located quite a long drive from Santa Fe but it is a good trail. There's so much to do here at Rio Medio Trail that you need to camp here for a     while, Trampas Trailhead Campground is a great place for that. Everybody loves Santa Fe National Forest, and Rio Medio Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Trampas Medio Campground is a good local campground. Whitewater paddling is good on Rio Santa Cruz; Rio Medio Trail is not far at all from Cleveland. Rio Pueblo has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. For the period of the summertime months, highs generally are in the 90's at Rio Medio Trail with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Rio Medio Trail dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Rio Medio Trail is pretty dried up regularly.
