San Lorenzo Trail

Outdoors people generally like this part of New Mexico. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and San Lorenzo Trail in Rio Arriba County, New Mexico is a good choice. San Lorenzo Trail is a long drive away from Los Alamos but it is one of many great trails in this area.
There are many wonderful hiking trails in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains where wonderful nature is waiting for you. Take a little trip to Gallina
Creek if you're here at San Lorenzo Trail; at San Lorenzo Trail you always meet someone from Abiquiu. So much exciting stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, not enough time. Juniper Campground is a perfect campground nearby,
and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try La Canada del Cerro. Abiquiu Inn is a delightful local campground, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Rio Grande. The panoramas at Bandelier National Monument will blow your mind, and do put some time aside to spend at San Lorenzo Spring since you're here at San Lorenzo Trail. Having a glorious time at San Lorenzo Trail is simple. El Banco del Apache is a perfect site to spend some time at, and you can
run the rapids of Rio Chama. There's no way someone can get bored here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. San Lorenzo Trail gets very little precipitation. For the duration of the month of August you get the most rain around here; February meanwhile is the driest month.
