Sapillo Trail   Can’t wait to get out in nature, Sapillo Trail in Grant County, New Mexico is a perfect place for getting out. Hiking trails are all over the Black Range, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. New Mexico has lots of outdoors activities. Sapillo Trail is located quite a long drive from Silver City but it is a great escape from the city. There are some nice whitewater spots on Gila River. Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is one of the destinations     near Sapillo Trail that are great to go to, and if you're going to from Gila, you won't be the only one. Stay the night at Pine Flats Campground, and City of Rocks State Park is worth checking out. Upper End Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Sapillo Trail get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's; nighttime lows all through the winter for Sapillo Trail tend to be in the 10's. Sapillo Trail is pretty dried up mostly.
