Sapillo Trail   There are many hiking trails in the San Francisco Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Pretty far from Silver City you find Sapillo Trail but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person. No chance     of getting bored in New Mexico if you like the outdoors. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Sapillo Trail has to offer, you can camp at Pine Flats Campground. Sapillo Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth a visit. There's so much to do here at Sapillo Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Cherry Creek Campground is a great location for that. While staying at Sapillo Trail you could always look at Sheep Corral Canyon, and don't leave without visiting Gila National Forest. Don't forget to take a fine little visit to West Fork Snow Creek. Don't miss out on a spree to Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument since you're here at Sapillo Trail; whitewater paddling is   not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Gila River. You definitely have to fancy Sapillo Trail. You'll meet a lot of folks from Gila here. High temperatures at Sapillo Trail through the months of summer are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's.
