Stub Trail   New Mexico is a great outdoors state. In the San Francisco Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. Stub Trail is a long drive away from Silver City but It's always fun to hike here. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and Stub Trail in Catron County, New Mexico is just what you need. Camping is available at Ben Lilly Campground, and get covered with water paddling on San Francisco River.     Just can't get enough of the San Francisco Mountains. Why not camp at Willow Creek Campground while you're here at Stub Trail; when you're here it's always fun to have a look at Gila National Forest. It is very dry here at Stub Trail generally. The month with most of the rain is August, and April is when it's the driest. Through the summer at Stub Trail highs are regularly in the 80's, and the night is quite chillier of course, regularly in the 40's.
