Woodland Park Trail   A long drive separates Silver City from Woodland Park Trail, but it is one of many great trails in this area. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the San Francisco Mountains where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. With so many outdoors activities available in New Mexico you'll never get bored. Gotta get out of the city man, and Woodland Park Trail in Catron County, New Mexico is the outdoors at it's best. A tremendous place     to camp here at Woodland Park Trail is Dipping Vat Campground; a fine spot to pop by is Ring Canyon. This spot, the San Francisco Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Camping at Scorpion Corral Campground is always a nice experience; when you're here it's always fun to stop at Gila National Forest. Paddling on Gila River is so much fun; sites like Woodland Park are tremendous to check out. It is very dried out here at Woodland Park Trail typically. August is when you get the most rain here while May is usually the driest month. Through the summertime here at Woodland Park Trail, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's.
