Twin Lakes Trail

  In the Adirondack Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. You'll have to go far from Utica-Rome to get to Twin Lakes Trail but it is a really good trail. With so many outdoors activities available in New York you'll never get bored. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while and if you happen to be in Herkimer County of New York, Twin Lakes Trail is a great local trail for
    doing a bit of leg stretching.
If you came to camp Trails End is a tremendous site to do that; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Cold Brook. And if that's not enough there's lots more cool things to do
in the Adirondack Mountains. Camping at Adirondack Gateway Campground is always a nice experience; getting to South Branch Black River from Twin Lakes Trail is trouble-free. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Black River. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Twin Lakes Trail, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; night lows all through the wintertime for Twin Lakes  
Trail tend to be in the 0's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Twin Lakes Trail a wet place. The month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is February.
