Mohawk Trail   Ohio is a great outdoors state. Mohawk Trail is a long drive away from Akron but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chagrin River - East Branch. Mohawk Trail is a location with many visitors from Newbury; a great spot to camp here at Mohawk Trail is Windrush Hollow Camp. Punderson State Park is a great site to stretch your legs a bit; camping     is available at Hosmer Lake. Big Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. Mohawk Trail is a good place of common rainfall. Most of the rain falls during September, and February is when it's the driest. At Mohawk Trail during the summertime highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's.
