Appalachian National Scenic Trail

  You'll have to go far from Reading to get to Appalachian National Scenic Trail but you always have a good time when you're hiking along it. With so many outdoors activities available in Pennsylvania you'll never get bored. A great site to camp here at Appalachian National Scenic Trail is Robin Hill Camping Resort. There are some great whitewater spots on Nesquehoning Creek, and a tremendous spot like Tuscarora State Park is too splendid to leave out. You're
    sure to bump into some cheerful folks from Kempton here, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Lizard Creek. An out of the ordinary thing to pop by in the vicinity of Appalachian National Scenic Trail is Koenigs Creek Dam. Appalachian
National Scenic Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Blue Rocks Family Campground is a good local campground. High temperatures at Appalachian National Scenic Trail through the summertime are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Appalachian National Scenic Trail temperatures dip to the 10's. A great deal of rain falls at Appalachian  
National Scenic Trail. The month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
