Bear Trail

  In Pennsylvania you never run out of outdoors fun. Pretty far from Lewistown you find Bear Trail but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. A perfect place near Bear Trail is Bechtol Gap; whitewater paddling is perfect on Elk Creek. If you came for an overnight stay Seven Mountains Campground is a good site to camp, and Bear Trail is a place with many visitors from Centre Hall. McKinney Spring is a great local attraction, and why not camp at Bob
    Kearns Campgrounds since you're here at Bear Trail. Kishacoquillas Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby. The amount of rain that falls at Bear Trail is close to the national average. June is when you get the most
rain here; the driest of the months is January. All through the long summer days at Bear Trail temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bear Trail.
