Boulder Field Trail   Hiking in Pennsylvania is such a great thing to do. It's a long drive from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre to Boulder Field Trail but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. It's always good to stop by Hawk Falls, and naturally Panther Creek flows through this region. Boulder Field Trail is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Lehigh Gorge Campground is a tremendous location to camp nearby. You'll meet a lot of people from Lake Harmony here,     and if you're here, you could stop by Hawk Run. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Whitewater Outfitter - Whitewater Raft Center. A spree to Hickory Run State Park when you're here at Boulder Field Trail is a fine idea, and there's whitewater on Tunkhannock Creek for all you thrill seekers. Be careful coming to Boulder Field Trail, you might not ever want to go back home again. The scenery at Placid Lake Dam close to Boulder Field Trail is beautiful, and WT Family Camping is a great campground nearby. Boulder Field Trail is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation. August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest.   Throughout the summertime months, highs typically are in the 70's at Boulder Field Trail, and the night is a bit chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Boulder Field Trail are in the 10's.
