Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Cedar Run. Leonard Harrison State Park is both good and gorgeous, and it's near Bushkirk Trail, and Mine Hole Run is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. There's whitewater     on Slate Run for all you adrenaline people. A great location to camp here at Bushkirk Trail is Pettecote Junction Campground; since you're here why not pop by Hamilton Hollow. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Bushkirk Trail has it all. Straight Run is a stream that you may stumble upon while here. Bushkirk Trail is a good place of normal precipitation. June is the wettest month with most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. At Bushkirk Trail all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's.
