Dry Hollow Trail

  This part of Pennsylvania is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. Dry Hollow Trail is not very near Lewistown at all but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. It's always great to stop at White Pine Spring, and Woodward Cave and Campground is a great campground nearby. A good location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Dry Hollow Trail is Fishing Creek - Bald Eagle Tributary; Dry Hollow Trail is a good place to visit for
    more than one day, Hartman Center Camp Cnfrnc is a good place to camp nearby. Little Poe Creek is a good local stream; you can run the rapids of Elk Creek. Looking for some flowing water? Try Pine Swamp Run, and Big Poe Valley is
also a great spot to explore. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Dry Hollow Trail has it all. During your tour to Dry Hollow Trail you'll meet some folks from Aaronsburg for sure. An average amount of precipitation falls at Dry Hollow Trail. June is when you get the most rain here while January is typically the driest month. For the period of the summer highs here at Dry Hollow Trail reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down  
into the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Dry Hollow Trail.
